Umanzo: an academic rewriter that passes AI checkers
A web app for students in Spain and Europe that rewrites notes, assignments, and theses so they keep the meaning yet read as authentic human work. We built the multi-model rewriter pipeline and academic-quality scoring.

Project context
Students in Spain and Europe worry about campus AI detectors. Umanzo offers a web tool to polish notes, assignments, and theses so they stay academic yet read naturally.
Challenge
The system must preserve academic meaning, not break citations, and not become a plagiarism machine. Formal tone must be adjustable per faculty.
What we built

Results
Used by undergrad and grad students to polish writing, not rewrite from scratch. Campuses see fewer drafts rejected by detectors.
