A web AI platform that automatically generates short-form video from a prompt, link, or script: voice over, avatar, render, and publish. We built the queued render pipeline, credit billing, and creator dashboard.

Project context

Octopuce (app.octopuce.io) is an AI video studio for US creators who want to publish daily without a large production team. Users enter an idea, article URL, or script and the system assembles a short video with narration, avatar, and music.

Challenge

The AI video pipeline uses many external services (TTS, avatar generators, composition models, encoders). Each render can cost and take different amounts of time, so UX must stay predictable and compute spend must be controlled per account.
